Welcome to Signal AEO LLC (“Signal SEO,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your subscription to and use of our AEO services. By subscribing to our services, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms
1. Services Overview
Signal AEO LLC (“Signal AEO”) provides subscription-based authority optimization services designed to improve brand visibility within AI-generated answers, citations, and trusted reference outputs across third-party AI systems and discovery platforms.
Services may include entity validation, citation alignment, authoritative content placement, and engagement verification using proprietary methodologies and tools.
All services are provided on a commercially reasonable, best-effort basis. Signal AEO does not guarantee inclusion in any specific AI response, citation, ranking position, traffic volume, or business outcome. Results depend on external systems, algorithms, and platform policies beyond Signal AEO’s control.
2. Subscription Terms
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions operate on a 30-day recurring billing cycle and automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with Section 3.
Billing Authorization
Client authorizes Signal AEO to charge the designated payment method on a recurring basis. Client is responsible for maintaining valid payment credentials.
Non-Payment
Failure to remit payment may result in immediate suspension or termination of services. Signal AEO reserves the right to pursue collection of unpaid balances, including reasonable administrative and legal costs.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requires written notice to contact@signalaeo.com at least 30 days prior to the next renewal date.
Cancellations received after this period take effect at the end of the subsequent billing cycle.
Cancellations are not accepted via phone, SMS, or social platforms.
No prorated refunds or service credits will be issued.
4. Refund Policy
No Refunds
All fees are non-refundable, including for partially used periods or perceived underperformance.
Chargebacks
Client agrees not to initiate chargebacks. Unauthorized disputes constitute material breach and may result in service termination and recovery actions.
5. Client Responsibilities
Client agrees to:
Provide accurate and complete business information
Maintain required access to websites, profiles, and analytics where applicable
Avoid practices that could undermine credibility, authority, or compliance (including deceptive, manipulative, or unlawful activities)
Client failure to comply may limit service effectiveness and does not entitle Client to refunds or credits.
6. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
All methodologies, systems, data models, reports, scripts, workflows, and tools developed by Signal AEO remain the exclusive intellectual property of Signal AEO LLC.
Client receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use deliverables solely for internal business purposes.
Client may not copy, reverse engineer, disclose, or replicate Signal AEO’s proprietary technologies or processes.
7. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to protect non-public business, technical, and operational information disclosed in connection with the services and to use such information solely for purposes of this Agreement.
8. AEO-Specific Risk Disclosure (Critical)
Client acknowledges and agrees that:
AI systems, answer engines, and citation models are third-party platforms not owned, operated, or controlled by Signal AEO.
AI-generated answers are non-deterministic, subject to continuous change, and may vary by user, geography, model version, or query phrasing.
Inclusion, exclusion, citation frequency, or brand prominence within AI responses may change or be removed at any time without notice.
AI platforms may alter training data usage, attribution practices, or content sourcing policies without prior disclosure.
Signal AEO does not control how, when, or whether a Client is referenced by AI systems and makes no warranties regarding persistence, exclusivity, or competitive isolation within AI-generated outputs.
9. Performance Disclaimer
Signal AEO makes no representations or warranties regarding:
Specific AI answer inclusion
Citation placement or duration
Traffic, conversions, revenue, or commercial impact
All services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Signal AEO shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.
Signal AEO is not responsible for algorithm changes, platform decisions, competitor actions, or third-party service failures.
Signal AEO’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid by Client in the 90 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Signal AEO LLC, its officers, employees, and affiliates from claims arising from:
Client’s breach of these Terms
Client misuse of services
Client violation of applicable laws or third-party rights
12. Non-Disparagement
Client agrees not to publish or disseminate false or misleading statements regarding Signal AEO, its personnel, or services. Breach may result in termination and legal remedies.
13. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
All disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Salt Lake County, Utah, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Class actions and jury trials are waived.
14. Modifications
Signal AEO may modify these Terms with 14 days’ prior notice via email. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance.
