You provide your business name, category, city, website, and 10 buyer queries we lock with you during onboarding. We do not collect a credit card, bank account, or any payment information. Your account is created in a trial-without-billing state in our subscription system; a payment method is only attached after the verification and billing-notice windows have closed, via Stripe.
Our 10,000-device farm runs your 10 locked queries every day on ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. We log every answer with a timestamp, the engine, the metro the query was run from, and the full response text. You get read-only access to this log in your dashboard from day 1.
The day your business is named by name in at least one query on any of the three engines, an automated email goes to your account email within 24 hours containing: (a) the engine, (b) the exact query, (c) the full AI response text quoted, (d) a screenshot of the answer as a customer would have seen it, (e) the device fingerprint and metro the query ran from, and (f) the timestamp.
You have 7 calendar days from the evidence email to verify or dispute the finding from your dashboard. If you dispute, we re-run the same query on a fresh device fleet within 2 business days and either confirm or retract. A retraction restarts the monitoring period — no billing.
After the verification window closes without a sustained dispute, we email you a billing notice. The first $497 charges 14 days after that notice. You can enter payment information from your dashboard any time during the notice period. The notice email includes a one-click link to cancel without entering payment.
From the first charge forward, billing is month-to-month at $497/mo on the calendar day of the first charge. Cancel any time from your dashboard. No cancellation forms, no retention calls, no fees.
The promise is real, which means we have to be honest about what we can’t do. Onboarding includes an eligibility check; if your business or keyword isn’t a fit, we tell you within 48 hours and close the account with no charge.
SignalAEO reserves the right to refuse service or terminate an account at any time with full refund of any charges made, with or without cause, and without triggering any guarantee obligation. This protects us against fraud, abuse, and material misrepresentation during onboarding. See Terms of Service § 6 for the full clause.
The promise is “free until AI names you,” not “free forever.” In practice, 95%+ of our customers are named within 30 days. We continue ranking work at no charge for as long as it takes, with one operational cap:
If 180 days pass without AI naming your business in any of the three engines despite our continuous active work, the account moves to an end-of-engagement review. You keep every asset we built (schemas, FAQ packs, content briefs, audit reports), we send you a written record of what was produced, and the account closes with no charge. We may, at our discretion, extend the engagement another 90 days if our data shows imminent citation traction. Total exposure on our side: 270 days of free ranking work.
